Discover Iloilo

Then referred as the Queen City of the South, ILOILO is showcased as a rich heritage city and boasts of delectable cuisine, cultural traditions and attractive natural landscapes. Iloilo became more popular for its religious and cultural festival called the Dinagyang – one of the country’s largest festivals held to honor the Santo Nino (Child Jesus) and celebrate the arrival of Malay settlers on Panay Island. The city is also home to many Spanish-colonial churches, huge vintage houses, and old commercial and institutional buildings that have survived the test of time.

Note: You can extend your tour further to Guimaras Island – a favored destination because of its picturesque beaches, waterfalls, springs, offshore islets.

It is also known as a Mango Country because it grows the sweetest mango in the world; or to Bacolod City in Negros Occidental, the sugar and organic capital of the country. Both destinations are accessible by ferry.
